Getting Started Your Snapchat

Hawdy howdy people!
Today I'm gonna tell you how to get started Snapchat. You'll learn how to manage your profile, add friends and some basic things u do when u have Snapchat for the first time. Let's begin, shall we?

1. Download Snapchat on your Play Store

Of course u know how to do this right? This is when u're done download it

2. Sign Up or Log in to SNapchat if u already have one

Basicly, u know how to make a Snapchat account right? So, I'm not gonna tell u about it. We have so much things to be talked about gurls.

This is the view after u log in to Snapchat.

3. Setting Your Profile Picture

Tap on that WHITE GHOST icon and then take pictures of yourself by tapping that WHITE CIRCLE button. When u tap it, it will take ur pictures 3 times. So, be ready :)
The profile pictures will be shown to other Snapchatters.

If u don't like the ones u took, u can change them by pressing that REWIND button on the top left corner of the screen. Then, press REMOVE.

4. Share Your Snapchat Profile Page (Snapcode) to Your Social Media(s)

Do u realize there are black dots spreading in the yellow square? That's ur SNAPCODE. It's basicly similiar to QR code like u find on Blackberry Messenger or Line. You can spread it to your social medias so ur friends can add u by scanning ur snapcode. Cool, isn't it?
All u have to do is just click on that SHARE icon on right top of your screen. 

Then, some social media options will be shown. 

Today, I'd like to share my snapcode to Path. Just click "Path" -checklist mark - save. Done!

Back to the HOME page of ur Snapchat.

5. The Trophy(s)

Snapchat has scoring system. If you do activities on Snapchat (e.g : open feeds from others, post feeds, chat) u'll get score. The score is located below ur name and beside ur username. Mine is 322. 

Let's take a look at the trophy icon on the center top of the screen.

This is the TROPHY CASE. 

Each case will be unlocked as ur score increases. For example, the first case opens when u hit the score 100. I don't know about the second, third and so on cases because I haven't unlocked them yet. So, good luck!

6. Settings

Click SETTINGS icon on the top left corner of ur screen.

Here, u can setting ur account like changing ur name, phone number, email, passsword. You can also manage ur account like setting the filters, flash, ect. You can set the privacy and notification here, and the last thing this is the place u want to go when u want to LOG OUT.

7. Added Me

From this icon, u know the people who adds u. It means they will be able to see ur feeds when u post feeds. 
You can either add them back by press that PLUS (+) button or just ignore it if u don't want to add them back.

8. Add Friends

You can add Snapchatters by ADDING THEM BY USERNAME, FROM UR ADDRESS BOOK, SNAPCODE OR SEARCHING NEARBY snapchatters.

9. My Friends

This is basically just ur friend list ordered alphabetically. It eases u when u want to chat them or remove them from ur friend list. Just click ur friend's name u'll see three icons appear (see the picture below)

Press the BLUE CLOUD icon to chat them, MIDDLE icon to send snap (picture or video). SETTINGS icon to edit their name, remove or block them.
